In a few weeks, JP Perry Insurance will be converting to a voice-over-internet-protocol (VOIP) phone system that will greatly expand our ability to customize communication options for each employee so they can improve client communication and enhance service to our customers. For example, any employee can see the phone status of another employee so transfers to a busy phone can be avoided and a commercial insurance account executive can get an email on their mobile device when a customer leaves a voicemail on the office phone. That email has a .wav file attached containing the voicemail that can be listened to immediately and action taken as needed. These and many other efficiency boosters will speed service and improve the experience of our customers.
